Join us in spreading the love of God through works of service

Perhaps you are someone not connected to a church or been hurt or judged by the church.  Or perhaps you cannot physically get to a church building.  Maybe you would like to deepen your commitment as a disciple.  If you believe in social justice, if you  want to actually do something to transform people's lives - consider joining Mitzvah Ministries.  James said, "Faith without works is dead".  It is through our acts of service that we most often reach people.  Service to our fellow man means that the church must reach out to those in need; to those in distress; to those who are being oppressed; to those that have less than.  Real transformation comes about through the process of giving and receiving expressions of God's love.  How we care for our brothers and sisters is what Christ will ask us come judgment day.  God has already equipped every believer to do whatever needs to be done.  God will ask what we did with the gifts God gave us.  What will you say?

 We believe that the 22nd century calls for a new model for the church - new way of "doing" church. You can bank online, go to school online, consult a psychiatrist online, have meetings online, buy groceries online, shop online - why not church online?

  •      Our online presence is primary to what we do not secondary;
  •      Sermons are podcast and posted to our Facebook page  and available whenever you need them
  •      “Today's Quote/Word" devotionals posted and available 24/7 for those with limit
  •        Aside from administrative costs, our money goes to service projects that demonstrate the love of God and supporting    organizations where our dollars will do the most good; we will not put our money into maintaining buildings nor pastor anniversaries, choir anniversaries, usher anniversaries or banquets or any of the myriad other ways we entertain ourselves;
  •        We encourage growth and development of a true relationship with God so that you can discern for yourself  God is saying to you; you determine when your "set aside time with God will be;
  •          This is a No Judgement Zone – we ascribe to the Greatest Commandment which is to love God first above all else and to love your neighbor the same way you love yourself.
  •       We believe you don't have to physically go to a church building.
  • At Mitzvah we say:  You don’t have to “go” to church to BE THE CHURCH
